Happiest of Birthdays

I believe that God gave us birthdays to remind us how blessed we are in our lives. This year, I have been reminded 100 times how much I am loved, whether it be a phone call, text, Facebook message, email, lunch, or surprise party.

Friday, I got an amazing package from an amazing friend.

Saturday, J and I went to my parents for the family birthday party. Much to my amazement, it was a surprise party carefully planned by my family, husband, and friends. So many people showed up to let me know how much they loved me and the ones who couldn't come were still making sure I knew that they loved me. It was a great time had by all and I was overwhelmed by the joy that filled the house.

Today, I was inundated with messages wishing me well and welcoming me to the 30 club. I was taken out to lunch by some great friends, made it home in time for Beanie, my sister, and dad to bring me some of my mama's peach cobbler (which I live all year for). I talked to people on the phone, returned messages, and thought to myself, 'how lucky can one gal be?'

So, to all who helped me celebrate and wished me well, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I am so lucky and was reminded of it this weekend and week. I love each and every one of you!
