Kobe Aloysius Schley

Today, our yellow lab of terror turns two! Yes, I am one of "those" pet owners who celebrates these things, and I make no apologies for it. Kobe came into our lives last summer and has made our little family a lot more interesting! Kobe is my first real pet. Jonathan has had dogs before, but I think we both agree that Kobe is the best!

In the spirit of Jonathan's post, here are the best things about our dog.

::Kobe does not bark, ever::

::He learns new tricks and even when we don't practice, he remembers::

::He's got the sweetest, meltiest eyes::

::He is very well behaved, most of the time::

::He's a little fella, only 60 pounds::

::He will do anything for a treat::

::He sunbathes::

::He kills bugs, but does not eat them. He leave them for us to find::

::He understands every word we say::

::He's an excellent swimmer::

::He loves new people::

::He does not beg at the table, unless we are at my parents::

::He pisses on everything in Dad's backyard::

::He greets me when I get home, even if he just lifts his head to acknowledge I'm home::
