Emma's First Haircut

So, after this and the Santa incident, Emma is going to need some intensive therapy. Don't let the picture fool you. She's good at smiling for the camera after a barrage of tears. I think in this picture she was in the middle of saying something vulgar to us.

Her first haircut was a hasty decision. We had just walked around San Tan and played at the playground there. She was in a great mood, so we went for it. Didn't bring our coupon or camera. Our lady was wonderful and the whole environment was happy. They obviously knew what they were doing.  Mama overrode the bangs because bangs are the bane of any girl's existence due to the maintenance involved. Besides, Emma has two hundred cowlicks and with our luck, her bangs would stand straight up.

However, now she has a cute little bob and she looks well-kept. Before, she looked like a ragamuffin. We got a certificate and a lock of hair to put in her baby book.
