I love naptime

Summer has officially started, and I actually feel like it has. I always get a 'work hangover' when all the exhaustion hits me at once and I'm usually down for a day or so. That was Saturday, and I had to cancel a bunch of stuff because I could barely get out of bed, much less off the couch. Today, it finally feels like a break.

Emma has been a crazy sleeper lately. Last night, she clocked 13 hours and is currently on hour 2 of her nap. She's down to one nap a day, usually a 3-4 hour nap. I love nap time. Today, I got in an hour of yoga and cardio.

She can also follow basic instructions, like throw away your diaper or grab mommy a book. Her vocabulary is starting to expand and she RUNS around. We rearranged our downstairs to better accommodate her sprinting. She loves running errands with me and has become my little buddy. She sure does love her daddy, though. This week, we are going to take her to get her first haircut, because her hair is beyond insane at this point.

Tomorrow starts swim lessons. I'm excited, but I think we may only do one session as it eats up our mornings and pretty soon, mornings are going to be the only tolerable part of the day weather wise. For now, I am going to shower and get ready for my cousin's graduation party... maybe read some Hunger Games before hand.

Grocery shopping is done, house is clean (enough), baby is sleeping...
