TWO!

Emma turned two this month! We were able to celebrate the birthday in our new house! I took the day off of school {which will occur every year until forever}. We had a doctor appointment to start our day {no shots}. Emma is slimming down {sad face, deep sigh, goodbye baby rolls} to 27 pounds, 6 ounces which places her in the 75 percentile. She is 36.75 inches and is still 85-95 percentile. She was PERFECT at her appointment. She let Dr. Kent look in her ears and listen to her heart with no problems. Mostly because she has a doctor kit given to her by her grandparents, so she's aware of what everything is and thinks its SO cool to be checked out... especially by a nice doctor with a Canadian accent. We then went to Target and I let her pick out some presents, all of which included something Princess. She has a love of Sofia the First right now. We got cupcakes, lunch and went to see daddy! It was a fun day!

Here's a look at Emma Lou at two:

My new favorite thing she does is copy what I do. The other day, she petted my head and called me sweetheart.

Another big deal was having a student babysitter last night! We've always had family and close friends, but Jonathan asked one of his seniors and Bailey was amazing! At dinner, we both agreed we were not worried about Emma... just Bailey! Everything went perfect and we will definitely be doing it again soon!
