Break

Jonathan and I are taking a day off tomorrow. We are going to lunch and a movie. Since we've been married, we haven't been able to do something together without being with many people. Don't get me wrong, we love being around our family and friends. But, we need a break to enjoy each other!

I am really looking forward to this winter break. It's our first Christmas as the Schley family. Kobe has already managed to eat his stocking, but I guess that's what he does! We are having a party to celebrate another semester, maybe not the best, but another one down. We are surrounded by family and great friends. We are very lucky to own a home, have jobs that afford us our life, and a simplicity that has been worked hard for. I appreciate that my husband is no frills and a hard worker. I got really lucky, and I try to take time each day to remember that, especially when there is dirty dishes in the sink or crumbs on the counter. I'm a first born, type A while he is the baby and way more laid back than I could ever be. The last 'wedding' related thing we need to do is change my name. As of January, I will be Elizabeth Ann Needham Schley. I figure since Jonathan has four names, I can too :)
