Things that are the bomb.

1. Today, I made a strawberry greek shake that was delicious. I mean, delicious. And healthy. Emma LOVED it. As a matter of fact, she drank half of it. She begged and even said 'chee' many times. (Chee=please)

I love food!!!

Here is the recipe I used. I kind of winged it and it was so worth it. This makes a pretty big greek shake, enough to share or split with a loved one.

::8 oz of your favorite Greek Yogurt, plain and non-fat
:: 1 cup of frozen strawberries
:: 4 oz of skim milk
:: 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein (I used 365, the Whole Foods brand)
:: 1 Tbsp of flax seed

Blend well and enjoy

2. Summer time and swimming. And hats that protect our Irish faces.

3. Pinterest. I made a creamy avocado pasta last night and it was AWESOME. I am a fan of all of the recipes I have pinned. If I'm not a fan, it gets unpinned immediately. Some I haven't tried, but being home in the summer allows me to actually do other things.

4. Meat. Yep, meat. A few days ago, I put the kibosh on the whole no meat for the month of June. I wasn't getting enough protein, and let's face it, I like to eat meat too much. It wasn't working, so I broke it off.

5. Emma saying no to everything. It's quite entertaining. And her singing...
