Obviously, I need to start this post with pictures of my Dilemma. She is so fun and so inquisitive! We've been to a lot of different places over the past few weeks and she soaks it all in. You can see her little brain firing away and learning all new things. I love it, I freaking love it.
Speaking of love, here is a list of things I currently love so much I could burst:
::Emma's nap schedule-she is back to two a day naps and so much happier::
::The fact that when she is ready for a nap, she collects her blanket and waits at the stairs::
::The time to workout while she naps in the morning and the time to watch a movie or do whatever during the afternoon nap::
::My clean house... well, cleaner than during the school year::
::The fact that my clothes fit better than ever thanks to the loss of 6 pounds from working hard and eating right::
::Extra time with friends::
::The warmth my home feels after people have been over::
::That I am actually bored... I had forgotten how awesome that feels::
::The time for me, which makes me a better mom and wife::
::That my husband is working so hard on his graduate degree, I am so proud::
::That Emma mimics almost everything we do::
::Emma's friends (my friends' children)::
I'm also loving the vegetarian lifestyle, even though I have cheated twice. Once, when I made chicken enchiladas that slow cooked all day and forgot to make some without chicken, then was too lazy to make anything else. The other time, I had a bite of Emma's grilled turkey and cheese. For Father's Day, I am going to eat a steak that my dad will make, because they are always awesome and during my cabin trip I am going to eat whatever I feel like. I do feel a lot better though, mostly from the uptake of veggies and fruit to my diet. I feel stronger from working out everyday for about 45 minutes. I love my Wii Fit. I makes working out feel like a game. I am looking forward to figuring out how to continue during the school year. I have not tried tofu or any other 'vegetarian product'. Just not my thing I guess.
Jonathan turned 30 this past weekend. We had a little shindig, which was super fun. We love our friends, we are really lucky to have so many great people in our lives.
I am going to finish my movie and maybe take a nap... I love staying at home.
