Baby Schley at 12 weeks

First off, that was the most boring doctors appointment ever. Pee in a cup, blood pressure, normal test reading, see ya in 4 weeks. No heartbeat. I felt the top of my uterus, which was weird. I do, however, really like our doctor.

Baby Schley at 12 weeks
:: size of a peach::
:has vocal cords::
::systems are maturing::
:: like Pretzel M&Ms::

Mama Schley
::loving maternity clothes and wishes it was acceptable to wear them when you are not pregnant::
::wondering wtf is going on with her body::
::is sleeping by 7pm every night::

Thank goodness the first trimester is almost over (September 22nd, not like I'm counting). I look forward to having some energy back and having the 'is she fat or pregnant' question answered.

Funny side note: on the way back from the doctors office, we decided to take a trip through the neighborhood to check it out. Unlucky for us, a police officer was waiting around the corner to tag J for speeding. So, we came home with a speeding ticket... and a healthy fetus. I think it's funny. Jonathan, not so much. Then again, I do not have to go to driving school next Saturday.
