The super awesome snow fort!

Cookie decorating
So far, our Christmas vacation has been white and full of joy! Yesterday, we journeyed down to Savage for some cookie making, fort building, game playing fun! I always love going to my Aunt Kitty's house. There is always good food and fun to be had, plus catching up with Shelby. This time, I got to meet the newest addition to the fabulous Needham cousins, little Miss Abby. She was so friendly and warmed up to me pretty quickly. She kept looking at me like, "I feel like I should know you, but I am not sure how". We made cookies and chatted, while the boys (who had already cut out their cookies) were outside constructing the world's most amazing fort. We watched Elmo, played Farkle (which is slightly addicting), and caught up in a way that you can only do when you are together. I love my family and am really lucky to have so many people to love me. Anytime I am at the Sackett's, I always walk away with a recipe and this time I got one for potato soup that I am stoked to make once we get home. We drove home in a snow storm, and went to bed gleaming with holiday spirit.
When I woke up this morning, it was lightly snowing. I kind of like this Christmas in the snow, mostly because I get to go home to the sun soon!
