Emma at 28 weeks

Wow, the magic fairy wand has passed over and I am definitely feeling pregnant! I went shopping and eating with my mom and sister yesterday, and when I got home I could barely lift my glass of water! I believe that was a reminder to start listening to my body because I can't do everything I used to.  I've been reading lots of books lately, thanks to my new Nook, and trying to 'study up' on all things from breast-feeding to postpartum issues and fitness. We don't have much longer to enjoy our quiet, lazy weekends, so I am desperately holding on to all the rest I can get!!

Emma and Mama at 28 weeks 4 days (we've pretty much morphed into one)

:: 17 inches long, although when she stretches it feels like 4 feet::

::never stops moving!!::

:: is about 3 pounds::

:: is amazingly silent while I teach::

:: worst heartburn ever that never goes away::

::now on bimonthly appointment::

:: has a room full of stuff, thanks to wonderful family and friends::

::kicks a lot when I hold my nephew, Davin which in turn irritates him::

::gets lots of kisses and words of advice from cousin Kirstyn::

I can't believe we are on bimonthly appointments already! Oh, I did pass my glucose test and have no signs of anemia. Yea! That glucose test was the worst thing ever. Three hours of pure torture, trying not to vomit, dealing with heartburn and orange drink burps, and being used as a pin cushion was not my idea of fun. However, all for Emma thus needed to be done. 

Other than that, J and I are looking into classes, pediatricians, and everything baby. 11 weeks....
