Dear Emma Lou,
I only write this to warn you and let you know what pregnancy has done to me. Friday, while I was at school, my lower back started to hurt. By then pep assembly at the end of the day, I could barely walk. I left school promptly after the bell because the pain was so bad, I could barely stand it.
Yesterday, I woke up and thought I was perhaps dying. I got in the bathtub and once I got out, I started to cry. I could not stand up straight and no one was home. I laid in bed and cried. I went to the chiropractor and to get a massage. Grandma and Grandpa Needham came to visit me as did Aunt Tabby and Davin. Every time I got up, it looked like my left hip was being pulled out causing me to walk funny and very painfully.
Today is a little better. I can finally stand up straight, but the lower back pain is still there. I am debating on whether or not to go to work tomorrow. The pain is bearable when I don't have anything to do, but I am not sure how it will go with 190 students to teach.
We are at the 8 month mark. Grandma seems to think you will be a spring break baby, and at this point I would love that. I'm going to start to get biweekly massages and continue to go to the chiropractor to help with my back. I am not a fan of being cooped up all weekend.
