Lists

I am a compulsive list maker. I write lists, think of lists, and speak in lists. Here is a list I was thinking of today after two separate people told me how much they liked my husband:

Reasons I love my husband

:: he tried yoga yesterday::

:: he is the nicest person i know::

:: his immaturity is hilarious and he knows it::

:: he is incredibly handy::

:: he is incredibly artistic::

:: he does things that I hate to do alone like go with me to change my oil::

:: he would do anything in the world for anyone in the world::

:: he doesn't pick on small stuff::

:: he married me and still likes me::

:: he's got the best laugh I've ever heard::

:: he's a great uncle::

:: he makes the strongest coffee known to man::

:: he's a patient, patient man::

:: he makes me do things because he knows he's right, and he is::

(for example, he made me look at our current house)

:: he believes strongly in family::

:: he's a true friend::

:: he never gives himself enough credit::

:: he sits through football season with my family and is a devoted Hawkeye fan::

:: he lets me be me::

:: he got me HBO so I could watch 'The Pacific and he doesn't make fun of me because I like history shows::

:: he thinks he's so hilarious, which makes him even funnier::

:: he never comments when I go for another glass of wine::

:: he never says out loud how crazy he thinks I am::

:: he listens::

:: he's got two different color eyes::

I could go on forever, but I'll spare you the vomit inducing details. I just really like my husband and was reminded of that this weekend :)
