Our week...

Emma is getting a lot more fun! Her mornings consist of smiling and cuddling between her feedings before retiring late morning for a series of naps. I adore the smiling and cuddling, especially on Sundays when we all get to do it. My new favorite thing is sitting on the couch with J and Emma, watching Sunday Morning. I absolutely adore my family.

Mama and Emma had a fun week full of visits, royal weddings, catching up, and ending with a Mama and Daddy date night.

Wednesday my great friend Brandie visited. I love talking to her because it's as if no time has passed, even though a lot of time has. I can talk to Brandie about everything and I absolutely love her. I look up to her and am happy she is back in the Valley.

Friday, we went to Sarah's to watch the royal wedding that she had recorded. Emma slept the entire time. I may take her to Sarah's more often. It was so nice to sit and chat with my friend. I miss not being at work and seeing her everyday.

Saturday: We had Sandra and Erika over for visits. I was so nice to see them!

I never fully realized how important it was to have a date night. My marriage is important to me, and in order for us to be good parents, we need to continue to be great partners. We went to the Keg, which is usually reserved for our Christmas dinner, but I felt that this was special therefore warranted a nice dinner out. It was nice to catch up with my husband. I mean, we talk everyday about everything, but this was uninterrupted and the only thing we had to concentrate on was each other. Emma had fun with her grandparents and cousin, Davin. I did start to tear up when we left, but I forced myself to leave.

All in all, it was a fabulous week. One more week of maternity leave...
